Experienced Commercial Property Solicitor required for key strategic role

Longden, Walker and Renney Solicitors is looking to appoint a motivated and experienced Commercial Property Solicitor with 3 to 5-plus years PQE to join our friendly and dynamic team in Sunderland.

We have a strong reputation in commercial property law and this is an excellent opportunity for a driven individual to take a key role in handling a broad range of commercial property matters.

The role is based at our head office on John Street in Sunderland, but flexible working will be considered for the right person based in the North of England who wishes to work partly from home.

It is an excellent opportunity with strong prospects for career advancement and will require some limited domestic property work and working alongside our established domestic property team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing a varied caseload of commercial property transactions including acquisitions, disposals, leases and property finance.
  • Advising clients on development projects, landlord and tenant matters, and property portfolio management.
  • Drafting and negotiating commercial property contracts, leases and other documentation.
  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships to provide outstanding legal support.
  • Working collaboratively within the firm to support wider business objectives.

Requirements

  • Qualified solicitor or CILEX Lawyer with a minimum of 3-5 years PQE in commercial property law.
  • Strong technical knowledge with proven experience handling a wide range of commercial property transactions as well as domestic property work.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive client relationships.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • A proactive and team-orientated approach.
