Beth Marron
Paralegal - Clinical Negligence
Beth graduated from Northumbria University in 2023 with a degree in Law, including completion of the Bar Course, and is now a valued member of our Clinical Negligence department with long-term aspirations of becoming a Barrister. She enjoys listening and talking to clients, drafting their concerns into a potential case and supporting people to overcome challenges.
Before joining us, Beth gained valuable experience as a court clerk, ensuring the smooth running of hearings by coordinating with solicitors, barristers, litigants, and judges. She was also a housing support officer, representing tenants in court during repossession hearings.
Away from work
Born and raised in Newcastle, Beth enjoys spending time with family, going for walks, and dining out. She has a passion for tapas – particularly prawns, bread, olives, and hummus – and Café Andaluz is her go-to restaurant. She also enjoys going to the gym and keeping fit.
What music do you like – any specific genre or artists?
I’m happy listening to pretty much anything – from Abba to Sabrina Carpenter, Taylor Swift or dance music. Whatever takes my fancy at the time.
What TV show would you recommend to others?
I don’t have one particular TV program that’s my favourite but I do like watching real-life crime documentaries and travel programs.
What is your favourite holiday destination?
This would have to be Playa del Carmen in Cancun, Mexico, because of its white sandy beaches, clear water and relaxing atmosphere.
Is there a smartphone App you could not live without?
It’s definitely Instagram because I like using it to keep in touch with people and see what my friends have been up to. I also like watching Reels.
How would you describe yourself in 5 words?
Friendly, organised, patient, driven and a perfectionist.
If you could go back in time, what advice would you give your younger self?
Hard work pays off. And enjoy the journey, don’t focus on the outcome.
