Clinical Negligence team strengthens with strategic appointment of Peter Wade
Longden, Walker & Renney is delighted to announce the re-appointment of Peter Wade to its growing Clinical Negligence department – in a strategic move to enhance the firm’s ability to handle complex clinical negligence cases.
Peter previously worked for Longden, Walker & Renney as a clinical negligence solicitor before leaving to pursue his ambition to qualify as a barrister and was called to the bar in 2018.
He brings a wealth of experience in clinical negligence litigation and has successfully recovered millions in compensation for families impacted by medical negligence. He has also handled Coroner’s Court Inquests, witness statements, court hearings and medical records analysis.
Reflecting on Peter’s arrival Managing Director Neil Heavisides said: “We are thrilled to welcome Peter back to the team. His expertise and track record in clinical negligence cases will be invaluable as we continue to expand and serve clients across the North East and UK.
“Growing our team with talented professionals like Peter ensures that we remain at the forefront of this challenging and important area of law.”
This latest appointment comes as Longden, Walker & Renney continues its impressive expansion. Last month, Nicole Barrs joined the Wills, Trust & Probate team as a Paralegal, following the summer arrivals of Tong Li, Darci Watson-Rutherford and Ben Crudace as Paralegals in the Clinical Negligence team. Another exciting hire is on the horizon, with a new Commercial Property Lawyer set to join the firm soon.
Neil Heavisides added: “These appointments are part of our long-term strategy to bring in highly-skilled professionals who share our commitment to excellence. With our growing team, we are well positioned to meet the increasing demand for our clients across all departments.”
Longden, Walker & Renney’s ongoing recruitment drive reflects the firm’s continued commitment to delivering exceptional legal services and expanding its expertise in key practice areas.
Earlier this year, the firm also appointed Jack Maddison as a Paralegal in the Civil and Commercial Litigation team, contributing to the growth of a department led by Chris Clayton.
