Kira Newton

Wills, Trusts & Probate Clerk

Kira is the first point of contact in our Wills, Trusts & Probate team and is adept at dealing with a wide range of issues – from handling new enquiries and issuing information packs to sending out Will updates.

She started life as an office apprentice and quickly impressed to earn a place in our Probate team, where she is now working towards achieving her NVQ Level 3 in Business Administration. Kira is very comfortable when speaking to people and enjoys the satisfaction of being able to help others.

Away from work

Born and raised in Sunderland, Kira loves North East life and can often be found taking a walk along the sea front (or stopping off at the arcades). She enjoys going out with her family and friends, especially to play bingo and listen to live bands.

What music do you like – any specific genre or artists?

I love all types of live music and my favourite artist is Beyonce but I will listen to anything – from UB40, who my Mum and Dad love, to modern day music.

What’s your favourite food?

I’m a big fan of Italian food, especially pasta – so I’d probably say Penne Bosco, a chicken and tomato dish with bruschetta for starter.

What’s your favourite holiday destination?

Marmaris in Turkey is amazing – I’d go back in a heartbeat.

What film or boxset would you recommend to others?

My favourite film is Law Abiding Citizen, where Clyde Shelton (who is played by Gerard Butler) vows to avenge the murder of his wife and daughter.

Is there a smartphone App you could not live without?

Tik Tok – I love using it to get information or advice about a topic, or just to watch funny videos.

How would you describe yourself in 5 words?

Helpful, friendly, approachable, organised and chatty.
