Appointment of experienced Solicitor will expand Commercial Litigation services
LONGDEN, Walker & Renney is delighted to announce that we are expanding and will now offer a comprehensive range of Commercial Litigation services following the appointment of experienced solicitor Chris Clayton.
An experienced Commercial Dispute Resolution Solicitor and a qualified Solicitor Advocate with the same Rights of Audience as a Barrister, Chris is a valuable addition to our team because he can represent clients in all courts including the High Court, Court of Appeal and the Supreme Court.
Described in this year’s Legal 500 as “a litigator who is bright, careful and easy to work with”, Chris is a great listener who openly and clearly guides clients through the dispute process whilst always aiming to achieve a satisfactory resolution.
Originally from Cumbria, Chris has worked at large, national practices where he gained his experience in complex, commercial litigation work. He returned to the North in 2020 when joining Baines Wilson and brings with him a wealth of expertise and experience.
The appointment of Chris, who is based in Cumbria, will provide a natural avenue to expand our Commercial Litigation services across the whole of the North of England and underscores our commitment to offering a complete range of legal solutions for individuals and businesses.
Commenting on the exciting appointment, Managing Director Neil Heavisides said: “We are thrilled to welcome Chris to our team. His extensive skills and experience align perfectly with our aims of providing a diverse range of the highest-quality legal services to our clients.
“Chris brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise in commercial litigation and his status as a Solicitor Advocate means we can knowledgably guide clients and offer exceptional legal representation at every stage of a case.”
